RealEquity supports a variety of location types to support defining a specific location or an area.

For most of the location types (multi polygon not included) RealEquity provides a lookup service that can be used to lookup locations of a specific type.

Supported location types:

- Specific address
- Street by municipality
- Zip/City
- Supplementary City Name
- Place
- Municipality
- Region
- Province
- Multipolygon

All lookup services have an equivalent service to Resolve the lookup to a full data structure for the specific location.

Most location types services have a service to resolve a location Id into a multipolygon.

# Location Id

To resolve a location, 3 properties are needed, that together will form the Location Id. The following properties form the Location Id:

- Source
- SourceId
- CountryCode
